How much will it cost?
Each move is unique in the amount of services Tender Transitions provides. Due to the varying needs of each client, it depends of the number of hours it will take to get the job done. Based on a devised plan, we provide an estimate for each job prior to the move. Contact us to set up a free consultation.
Does Tender Transitions do the packing?
No, we coordinate with a professional mover to pack and move you. We oversee the job and make sure everything is done just the way you want it.
How soon can we move?
We move fast – and so can you! We have moved people in as few as two days, as well as begun planning for moves several months in advance. Situations vary; we can accommodate your schedule in most cases.
What should I do?
One thing that is helpful is to sort through personal papers. Wading through papers is often time consuming but is something that only you can do. If you do choose to use our services, the most important thing to do is relax! We will handle all of the overwhelming details.
Do I need to start packing?
You can do as much or as little as you would like. It is easier sometimes to let the professional packers take care of it. However, the choice is yours.
What do I do with all of the stuff that I can’t take with me?
There are several options. You can consider sharing with family, donating, or selling these extras. We can help with the sorting process and we work with professionals in all the different areas to distribute the “extras” as needed.
Can I stay at home the night before my move?
Yes! In most cases your bed and essentials are left set up at your current home and then transported to your new home on moving day. You won’t miss a night’s sleep in your own bed!
